@TheRallycrossKing if ur saying that this little b18 ek got a 15hp gain from a single cat-back exhaust then YOU probably wouldnt know. he got a 5hp gain MAX out of that cat-back. a 4-1 header would get you another 3-4 and a short ram would get you another 3 on a b18. barely 15hp out of all 3 bolt-ons.

@Littlemac181 Googled it - VTEC just kicked in, yo! is a catchphrase often used on 4chan (namely, /b/ and/p/) referring to sudden velocity expericened by a car with a VTEC motor.

First started on /p/ (photo board) in response to a picture of a Honda, VTEC refers to Honda’s variable valve timing system, which is used to increase horsepower at higher RPMs.

Since many /p/ regulars didn’t think highly of VTEC, this expression was used to negatively describe any souped up Asian car (Ricer).
