I hope you feel a little better about everything now. I hope you're grandmother recovers. Remember that the reason you are so strongly connected to her is because she lives so strongly through you. You will one day be the grandmother to someone who will also live strongly through you. For all the sadness it will bring when she passes, know that YOU are alive and you were the one that experienced a grandmother like no other and no one can take that away

I think you are looking at things a little negatively. Ok life can be shit and troublesome to say the least but I think (my atheist point of view) we should thank our blessings. We have been given the chance to experience the most wonderful thing in an amazing time, i.e. life. Ok it's only fleeting and ephemeral but it's an oppertunity none the less to have wonderful experiences and meet wonderful people. Always remember how lucky you are to be alive and to know someone as wonderful as ur Gran.

You are so right! I do sometimes look at life a little negative, it must my Eastern Europe upbringing;) Since I live in the US, I def learned to see more positive things about life and our world and become more hopeful!
