007 finally makes it to Rio de Janeiro, and he arrives in grand style on a Concorde. He is preceded by henchman Jaws (Richard Kiel), who later in the film will have a memorable fight with James Bond in the cable cars of the Sugarloaf!

@maurydez it's Galeao... It was not possible to a Concorde to land at Santos Dumont.. the track is way too short for it. Note the orange and green plane shot during the Concorde landing: it is a TransBrasil 727.

I would like to know which airport that was.. There are 2 possible airports that a Concord could land in Rio De Janeiro. Santos Dummont and Galeao..
That airport had mountains around, who the fuckc are they kidding?

For all the criticism Moonraker gets, it is by far the most stunning in the series to look at. Bond films back in the day made you feel like you were going on an exciting trip around the globe. For all its locations, In Quantum of Balls, you didn't feel like you were going anywhere. I guess it's because the series has been infected with such pretentiousness, they feel like even the most beautiful locations should look "gritty" and "real". Well... fuck that!
