Malcolm Fraser... get fucked! LOL (Oz Prime Minister '75-'82)
The bumper stickers of the day referred to Mal and wife Tammy thus:
Tammy has one, Mal is one. Ah, the '70's.... ha ha ha...

A larger than life sort of figure when I was younger.

This pretty much captures the Angst and Anxiety of a pub band on a mission in the 80's. I saw them at the West Ryde Hotel. Packed to capacity and over they just friekin' rocked. Don't care for the bald bloke now but... The thought was there Pete!

I would say Peter Garret is a brave man. We observe the world, criticized it, blame politicians, but few go, it's easy to stay in our chair criticizing everything we observe, at least Peter was trying to change things, it does not operated but he try ! Stop criticizing the brave men !.... FUCK the jaded !

Rather than go surfing or just sit under a tree receiving enlightenment, PG has ventured into the most vicious, venomous snake-pit in the land: Federal politics - GO PETE!!!

Forget the political ramblings. This band was THE best band of the 70's and 80's. Awesome live and a sound that sums up the hard edged pub culture of the time. Oils, Tatts, Angels...it didn't get any better than this
