  • Started listening to Dr. McGee on my local radio station, since the age of 12. His messages are still just as relevant today as they were back then.

  • McGee always said of the "sinlessly perfect," ask their wife or their husband or someone else who has to live with all that perfection whether it is true.

"If we say that we have no sin, we make God a liar, and the truth us not in us."

  • @RobertMOdell Then why did you park your butt here and listen? And why go to all the trouble of debating Dr. McGee's stance on eternal security? "For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality." Sure sounds like there will be a lot of less than perfect people made perfect in an instant. But you don't have to worry about that, since you claim you are. I'd rethink.

  • Exactly. Sitting in Church doesn't make you a Christian, any more than lying in barn makes you a horse.

  • Hebrews 5 speaks about those who were "enlightened" and "partakers" of God's hoy spirit. Although they had "tasted" of the word of God, they did not embrace the final revelation of Christ's ONE, and ONCE for all, sacrifice. These "Hebrews" were not believers in the final SUFFICIENCY of Christ's death for their salvation. They had embraced Jesus as their promised "Messiah" but refused to accept his death on the cross as ATONEMENT, thereby rejecting him as REDEEMER and that was unforgivable.

  • Depends on the usage of the word "saved". If it is "saved" with small print- "depending on you", then you can lose that particular salvation. But, that's religion and not true salvation. If it is "saved" with large print- "solely depending on Christ's work on the cross", then you cannot lose it. That is the true salvation. The former is in your hands; the latter in Christ's hands. The former is fake; the latter is real. The former is "fear"; the latter is "peace". Salvation is in Christ.

  • amen!

  • @RobertMOdell sin is missing the mark inquity is continually and willfully missing the mark all sins are not equal 1st John says there is a sin unto death .... do you think God looks at a child stealing candy being as bad as a man killing an innocent man absolutely NOT that doesnt line up with The Bible

  • @RobertMOdell - The perfect life is made perfect by the fact that the sin has been paid for. You are perfect because of what Christ did nothing you do.
