The April series, done in collaboration with the WNYC Culture department's new project on the changing NYC architectural environment, continues. This week, The New Yorker's architecture critic Paul Goldberger take the opportunity to answer some of the interesting questions that have come up over the past three weeks, and look at some submissions to the Cityscapes Flickr project.

  • the only reason those people are sitting on the Guggenheim wall is because it doesn't have those spikey things on top that hurt your ass that they usually put on anything that one might possibly be able to stop and sit on in Manhattan.

  • My favorite Manhattan vantage viewing point is from The Brooklyn Bridge,

    there's nothing like it at night.
