Flashmob Nepal

Watch a historic flashmob by "concerned citizens" and residents of Kathmandu valley. Why "concerned"? Children as young as six can be found working full time in the brick factories around Kathmandu. Working in the brick factories exposes all workers especially children to irreparable health damage including acute respiratory infections, back injuries, lung cancers. Black carbon released by the chimneys is a mass killer and is highly toxic. It is estimated that air pollution results in 1600 premature deaths per year in Kathmandu alone. Every year 837'600 tons of carbon dyoxide are released by the Valley's brick kilns. Workers are exploited and animal abuse is prevalent. To the people who think there is too much Bollywood influence: sorry, this reflects democratic choice (online voting)! We used MonkeySurvey to ask people for their favourite dancing songs. The result was that two Nepali songs were selected, a few Bollywood but also rock and a great old Twist by the Contours ("do you love me now that I can dance")

People is was like awesome COOL.. forget wat language the songs were in!! why are we Nepalese always scratching around for faults in something?? Lets just be positive and give these guys a thumbs up for all the effort they put in and the message they wanted to send as well.. been seeing some really cool flashmobs from Lebanon to Germany... But i totally loved it coz this was done in my Nepal..

Ok here's my problem with people's comment... Hindi Nepali guys come on it doesn't matter ya.. what matters is that they were brave enuf to do something that has never been done before in KTM... I thought it was truly wonderful of you guys to make something like this happen.. Good Job..
