While I agree that he is a politician, AND his departure was ILL TiMED to say the least, I think he is a decent guy who is looking out for his people. Can't say I don't do the same in my line of work - just goes unnoticed. Not gonna say there's no honesty in him........he was actually up front in that he was looking at the USF job. But the timing was f'ing awful and I hope that he has learned from this experience.

Loved Skip at ECU, but he has no allegience to anyone, he will take off in a heartbeat if he thinks it will get him a better job. He is a politician who is also a football coach. No honesty in the man.

So what makes USF better than ECU? Because they play in a "joke" BCS conf. with like 5 football teams and 25 basketball teams Im not talkin shit on the BE because We'll be in the BE in a couple of years and USF and ECU might have the biggest football rivalry in the BE. As far as teams, you forgot to mention the WVA, UNC, NCSU, and South Carolina's of the world, not easy. Also I recall a certain USF program being in CUSA a few years ago before the moves so don't act like USF is up on a pedestal.

why are you ripping on USF when they are better then east carolina. south florida plays miami, pitt, west virginia, cinncinati, and rutgers. all these teams are good teams that play good teams and have tough schedules. east carolina plays only houston and VT.. East carolina plays in a conference against easy teams. The big east is stacked with strong teams such as pitt, cinncinatti, rutgers, west viginia, and USF. So if you want to talk shit about the big east get your facts str8
