ABC World News With Diane Sawyer - First Open

Diane Sawyer took over the reins of World News on December 21, 2009. Surprisingly given the low-key promotion, they gave the program a (frankly outstanding) new look remniscent of Peter Jennings' late 90s graphics.

Unfortunately, while the graphics are great and the music was thankfully kept, they decided to change the voiceover. Bill Rice, who voiced the intro for as long as I can remember, is out. Mike Rowe, host of Discovery's Dirty Jobs and a professional voiceover guy himself, takes over. I like Rowe's voice but Bill Rice was *the* guy I associated with ABC and possibly the last "staff announcer" left.
