Kitesurfer (Kees Sinke) on Conception Bay in the frigid North Atlantic on October 11, 2009. It was a challenge to keep the camera steady with gusts of wind of up to 100KM/hr. The salt spray covered the viewfinder making it difficult to keep focused on the black suit against the dark seas.

Chamberlains beach at 40 knots from the WNW. The kiting here is excellent if the wind direction is between WSW and NE. The point at the South side of the beach usually has a small area of flat water behind it which is great for transitions.
