  • Where's Bobby Hull?

  • @MisterSherlockHamlet Winnipeg had a pro-ready arena for 6 years before they got the Jets. I believe Quebec City is in the midst of building one now, but just as Toronto blocks Hamilton from ever getting a team, I believe the Canadiens actively do the same thing for QC. Hartford has no interest in replacing the Civic Center, and no pro team will ever make that building their home, and the Rangers will block any Hartford team.

Id like to see the Whalers come back, but its not realistic.

  • @whalers4ever My favorite team too! Let's Go Mets!

And let's go Hartford...Winnipeg's done it, Quebec's getting closer to doing it...get going, you've GOT to be next!

Ducks fan forever...I want to hear Brass Bonanza when my Ducks play in the East, Hartford...make it happen...

    And like he said:

YA GOTTA BELIVE! The Whale Shale Rise Again!

  • Watching though watery eyes. Miss you Whalers!

  • I WAS there every game from 1979 to 1997 and it is obvious that 2 of the interviewees were not. Mike Liut did NOT goaltend for the first 6 years, maybe that fan was one of the bandwagoners who started coming in 1986. John Garrett was the Whaler netminder from 1979-1982 and Greg Millen from 1982-1985 and was part of the Liut trade to Hartford. The guy who chirped about the 11-0 win over the Oilers did not know that Gretzky AND Kurri the NHL's 2 top 2 scorers both missed that game due to injury.

  • @mrceebees14 Disagree with that

  • hada love that ladies earrings,,,,

  • This video brought a smile to my face and a tear at the same time. Having been a season ticket holder from nearly Day 1 the Whalers were not a only a passion but a way of life for many years, I remember sitting in the Forum in Montreal when Lemieux scored in overtime and being dumbfounded not wanting to believe that the magical ride was over. When the Whalers were ripped from us in 1997 it was like a part of me died. So many great times and so many friends were made in Sect 112. Hurts still.
