  • ha well I may have a 4th generation and I'm pretty damn close to stock, but still. I can see it happening if you're car was running great or it could be a freak lol but i'm just saying in general, a h22 lude is faster. I believe that you beat one, hell I beat one with my h23 because the guy I raced had a bunch of sensors unplugged. you never know the whole story.

  • lol best ive seen here near stock was 15.4 and it had headers and its trap speed was 89mph... ps i dont need go by any method, i just did it.. maybe the car that i had was a factory freak lol

  • I meant to say high not low lol...seriously a h22 lude tops out at a higher speed, gets to 60 faster, traps faster in a 1/4, I don't know what measure you'd like to go by, but a h22 prelude IS faster then a av6. Period.

  • and if it doesnt it should probably be in the 87-89mph trap which is what a 6th gen av6 do.. besides the roll races that i did went over that, and that was long way back when i used to own that car

  • if you're running mid 15's (which is low for a h22 lude) you're trapping at least 90-91mph.

  • yes but since in a roll race theres no 60ft involved you should look at trap speeds not the time..

  • All I'm saying is if any 5 speed h22 prelude, 4th generation or 5th runs a 16 flat, which is what these accords run, the driver is either on drugs or the car has serious issues.

  • your prelude is different than the one im talking about.. yours is 4th gen if im not mistaking im talking about the same one in this vid, 5th gen which is the one i was talking about, yours is swapped, its a different story.. i never took mine when i had it to the track but ive seen here with a SRI run 16.0@87mph

  • @Dani01c with an intake was never even close to my lude, as a matter of fact I raced him before I had my h22a, when I had a h23 with 240k miles on it that burned more oil then gas, and I lost, but it was only by a car. Until about 60 I was ahead too. I understand that a j series is making a lot more torque, but I just can't see it happening if the prelude is being driven by a competent person and isn't throwing a shitload of codes.

  • Long gears? Sure the gears arn't short when compared to a b-series trans or something, but you stay in vtec every gear, so the gears are fine by my standards, and when compared to the automatic v6 gears they are godly. A 5th gen SH is the heaviest (and makes the least power due to ATTS) so I can see one running a 15.4, but with a good driver they should be lower in the 15's then that. That being said, what does a 4 door automatic v6 accord run? What do they top out at? My buddies 01 v6 coupe
