His high level of spirituality in his playing invokes and challenges the mind of the listener to dissolve and for the eyes of spirit to awake and see what's real in life, for in the modern world there many things that can make the mind restless and have unhealthy thoughts. But, through the playing and singing of musicians in Indian Classical Music it can help you expand your spiritual awareness even when the mind is most restless.

Ustadji is my god....He is a true Indian who inspite of his religion is indispencible to every Hindu as without him even our gods and goddess seems to ignore us and answer our prayers. Me too. I love Rashid Khan, Kumar Gandharva, Jithendra Abhishieki, Malini Rajukar, Bhimsen Joshi, Vasantrao Deshpande, and many ohters like Nazakat and Salamat Ali Khan and Roshan Ara Begum. Kishori Amonkar is very talented and has an excellent voice for classicla and bhajan. I have one bhajan cd of hers and a two cd set of her concert.
