Yeap it does say that.I read it somewhere a long time ago and had to do it the hard way.I recorded that part of the song to a cassete tape and then had to take the tape apart and fix it to play backwards.I thought it was way cool but it sounded better than this one you have.Yours sounds more high pitched.Sort of chipmunk sounding.Did you edit it or change the sound any at all backwards?

Ok I just heard about this whole backmasking thing with this song a little while ago and that TOTALLY freaked me out!!!! I always wondered what those wierd language was at the end… haha so freaky but glad I finally heard it!

Hey I heard that prince does more bckmasking on other songs. Is this true? And if so what other songs have it? I heard baby I'm a star had it but not sure? Is it true?

The PS3 has software where you can record videos and then play it backwards, so thats what i did

Read somewhere that Nicki Minaj sampled "Darling Nikki" so I was like what's that? and went and listented to it. I liked it a lot and was gonna put it on my ipod!! Nope, not anymore.

@xchethomasx He did this on purpose. This is how he recorded it. Then, he reversed it, and put the reversed part on the record (at the end of the song). What you hear in the song sounds jumbled up for a reason. This is the only example I know where an artist purposely did backmasking on a recording. Except, he didn't write normal words he knew would have a meaning backwards as well - the normal forwards version on the song sounds like nothing but gibberish.

yeah, in the movie purple rain they r talking about some sounds playing on his cassette player, she said sounds like she's enjoying her self or something and he said actually she's crying I'm just playing it backwards...or something to that effect so I'm sure there are alot of backmasking or what ever in his music

Listen to Pink Floyd's Empty Spaces. It has a really clear message, just have to turn up the volume to hear it. Check it out. When I was a kid, I would spin the actual vynal backwards to hear Prince say "hello, I'm fine" . Very deep Satanic stuff. wink, wink.
