An important motto I have kept for myself is that we are the same person during peace as we are during conflict, it is in conflict that we learn new aspects of ourselves. This has always kept me centered during changes in my life; I really appreciate this insight you have. Correct me if I'm not paraphrasing correctly, but it is in the pause between what lay before and what lays ahead that we achieve unity. Does that mean the present, when we stop and listen, is unity?

@Pharyn Hi Pharyn! I would agree with one adjustment, it is in the in-between that we perceive unity. It is not created then; it is always there. Frankly, it is always there in past, present and future. Though, as has been said, the past does not exist and the future is a fantasy.
