London Midland, Class 172, 172338 At Derby, 5Z72 to Tyseley TMD (4th July 2011)

London Midland Class 172, 172338 standing and Leaving Derby with the 5Z27 to Tyseley TMD, when arrived at Derby, waited outside Litchurch Lane works and saw a few Class 172 while waiting for the XC Voyager service to leave, once started moving, ran parallel with the LM 172 into Derby, quickly got off the train and ran round to capture this! filmed 4th July 2011

These are the units which will replace the Class 150's on the Snow Hill Lines!

I like the livery, this 172 variant looks a lot like a Class 377. The Class 150's look a lot better to me, but maybe these will grow on me over time.
