If Armstrong was the first man on the moon… then who shot the moon landing?

@badasslbitch Also, minimal gravity is not the question. Gravity does not make a flag fly. A flag in minimal gravity would fall downward too, not "float up." NASA obviously realized that there was not wind on the moon so the flag has wire run along the inside to hold it out. That is why it appears to fly.

@songverth Am i the only one who thinks your ill informed about the technology state of the 1960s? You do realize one of the very first Atom Bombs was developed before than right? TVs and Computers that arent common, doesnt necessary mean Low Technology. It means it didn't matter to them.

@tvspace of course using a remote controlled mechanical arm is waaaay more difficult that sendind two guy alive for a country that before that (no offense) was behind the space program with the russians a thousand years.
it was a race to win no matrer what. plus with the cold war and all the money spent to change gov overseas they have to justify that kind of spending
Check out the Emmy video on my channel. It explains how the small TV camera was attached to a panel on the decent stage of the LEM. The astronauts pulled a lever lowering the panel with the TV camera, which was pointed at the ladder. During the EVA, the astronauts removed the same camera and placed it on a tripod in front of the activity.

If his picutres are real how on earth (or moon?) did the U.S.A flag 'fly' with minimal gravity the flag would of simply floated up :/

@badasslbitch First, the the pol was planted into the ground like a stake. Also, the flags had support structures across the top so the stars and stripes were always visible.

umm.. i dont know if this is real or fake idc i love learning about space and i love science (: in skool we're watching Apollo 13

It's very real. Not one scientist has ever tried to discredit the 842 pounds of lunar rocks and material brought back during the Apollo program.

if neil armstorng was the first man on the moon how the hell would we have footage of neil armstorng. Whose behind the camera?Doesnt that mean neil wasnt the first man on the moon?

You didn't do well in fifth grade science, did you? The camera was mounted on the inside of a LEM panel on the decent stage. The panel was lowered into position before Neil left the lunar module.
