  • dwg, i watch all your vids and find them very informative. i do find the figures you present a tad optimistic. one pile of algae will fill your tank and one palm producing 30 gallons of biofuel per year. i'm not convinced.

  • DWG, I'm one of your subscribers; thanks for your videos! After watching this video, I was vacationing in Newport, Oregon last weekend and when we went down to the beach I wasn't sure we were going to find any washed-up algae.

    Eventually, as we headed home from the beach, I noticed a couple of isolated stems of brown algae perhaps 100 meters or more from the coast. I reached down to pick it up and recoiled. It was so slimy, it was dripping with oil! Thanks for your videos, David.
