SkyShed POD- "Rough Fit" of Semi Dome On Wall

Nov. 16th, 2006. The first Secondary Dome Panels were rough mated to the SkyShed POD Wall today for the first time. As expected the fit was great. Refinements are now being made to the dome panel molds to finish the "fit" job. You'll notice in the video the star "kissoffs" create a slight pattern on the outside wall. This is because at first we need to make them larger and deeper than they need to be. As we refine them we scale their size down until we hit the right size. If you look closely during the video you'll notice that the original wall stars have been downsized already and will be downsized once more.
