A short film by Sue Reddish, Ellie Greenwood and Sam Lee. We had three days to get this done and sent to London in time for a festival in France. The poem in the background would be sung by John Hegley whilst our film would be played in the background. It uses human sized green screening and video layering techniques to produce this short. Background was a table-top set which was heavily post-processed. The poem is about a man who lives in a village called Roan in France, a rather depressing town due to the amount of rainfall it has. Its okay though because his love lives there and all seem bright and well.
