I was just sitting here taking a break from doing my Berklee College of Music Scales 101 and Chords 101 homework and I broke out in this tasty little riff.. needless to say I didnt get much more homework done... I thought this turned out really cool... I came up with the solo first and then laid the rhythm guitar down over it... kinda backwards I know... lol... hope you enjoy.... its an A Mixolydian Solo in the 12th position stretching to the 17th fret... I start out with a little tremolo lick at the 2nd fret G string and then slide it all the way down to its octave at the 14th fret G string... this A tone is also the one I bend during all my bendybend licks... all of the non people pictures in this vid are ones that I took from around here in the beautiful pacific northwest... most of them up in Neah Bay... the kiddos in the last picture are Tate playing guitar (my friend Chrissy's son), My daughter Abby singing (she's my oldest), Kristen singing (My Girlfriend Dori's moms boyfriends daughters daughter...lol...figure that one out...), Ashley playing guitar (shes my youngest..and cutest...lol), Jayla playing my electronic drums (shes the same age as my youngest daughter and we took care of her for almost a year until her aunt patti took her in...a marvelous wonderful beautiful jazz and r&b singer..go check her stuff out..thats Patti Allen), and then finally rounding out the group playing the keys is my boy...Andy William.... quite the pop group if I might say so myself.

Thanks for watching everyone and have a safe and happy holidays

  • @MrRaif09 Actually I'm attending Berklee College of Music online right now... I've take Chords 101, Improv, Scales 101, Blues for Guitar and am currently taking Chords 201 and Jazz 101... next semester I'll finish up my Masters Certificate in Guitar with Classic Rock for Guitar and Acoustic Guitar.... the classes are slightly pricey..which is why my MGIB is paying for them. Where abouts in the northwest.. I live near Bremerton across the water from Seattle... Thanks for watching the vid man!

  • I like your video. My name is Raif Im from the pacific northwest. I was thinking about going to a music school like MIT or Berklee, do you know if they have an online school or a campus in the Northwest?
