Blue Streak
The Blue Streak is the oldest operating roller coaster at Cedar Point. But make no mistake about it - this "woodie" still provides a great ride! After cresting the 78-foot-tall lift hill, riders experience more than a half-dozen hills, a hairpin turn and maximum "airtime!" Named after a local high school sports team, the wooden Blue Streak has given more than 54 million rides since its first summer 42 years ago.

In 2005, this timeless coaster gave 765,320 rides. Guests must be at least 48 inches tall to take a trip back in history aboard the Blue Streak.

  • Surprising little coaster will a lot of air time! Ride this baby late when the park is near closing, they take off the trim brakes so it is a even faster ride! You are nearly out of your seat because of the sustained air time! May not be Millennium Force but still a great ride in my book!!!!

  • @isgoodno Haha. I wish. What I think would be awesome (and very realistic), is being launched at 150mph in 3 seconds, climbing a 510 foot coaster, with a 500 foot drop. Then you descend, then you drop at 400 feet. After that, there is an overbanked turn (like on MF). You go into a loop. After that, you drop at 300 feet. You then go into a tunnel, then drop at 200 feet. Then there's another overbanked turn. There's a heartline roll, then drop at 100 ft. Lastly, there's a horseshoe roll :)
