Rats are if not more intelligent, at least equal in some sence to dogs. And their social life means they have the will to work together in some areas. Not like a dog, but enough to be able to learn simple commands.
So...I decided to teach my rat, to climb my leg when she was fed up with being down on the grass in our (enclosed) garden. Problem is, she decided she didn't want to climb my PANTS....so she climbed up my legs UNDER the pants.."Come Loppan IIIAOOOEARGHLSSHA!"...I miss her so much.

I made the same kissy noises when i fed my rat. So when ever i made that noise,, she thought she was getting food lol

my female rat used to come when i called her, but she got super sick and now she just ackts like im not there.

give her a treat when she does something right. Positive reinforcement.

Kissy noises and clicky noises are an aggressive sign to rats, this rat is used to it but I wouldnt recommend doing it to a new pet rat, or if you're going to have lots of rats because they wont be able to recognize aggression from other rats if they think the noise is a good noise c:

Thank you all for all your love and comments my rat in this video passed away awhile back this video is quit old i miss her she was my first rat i have 11 now ive taken in from shops that were going to be snake food and unhealthy now they are all spoiled, i didnt train my rat in this video she was just so smart and she knew no matter what sound i made i was calling her its not the sound u make its the tone of your voice goes for any animal i hope to download more videos of my other rats

im very aware of that thats maybe the second time being outside i just wanted to give her some fresh air she loved it but we only stayed out for ten minutes and went back in
