Great tune brother!  I live in Colorado now, but I grew up playing music around flint in a band with my brother called 'The Rugby Mothers'. Used to play shows at the Capitol Theater for Joel Rash and all over Michigan. I remember the songs of Nick Juno and so many other great bands from Flint. Funny, I started playing Uke back in about 1985, and wrote many a punk rock song on the Uke back in the day. Now I'm just as your awesome song describes. Really hit home for me. Cheers!

i LOVE this! By the way, I'm middle-aged, play ukulele, and graduated from UofM-Flint with a degree in theatre (I believe that's the lighting booth behind you?).
