@andeeersh it wasnt the greatest day of his life. :) jörg butt scored over 30 goals in his carreer. by the way, there were three goals in CL vs juventus turin... with three different teams!! (hamburg, leverkusen, bayern)

When I played football the referee used to always check the keepers were ready before restarting the game? But I can't remember if that was only KO of both halfs and not when someone has scored. Great finish btw!

Firstly, why woudlnt a keeper be allowed to take a penalty? There are no rules which state only outfield players can. I mean, there's that keeper who's scored 100 goals just from penalties and free kicks. In fact, doesnt Butt (the Bayern keeper) used to take them for Bayern?
Secondly, as long as all the players are in their own half, the game can be kicked off again. As you can see, all the players in white were in their own half when the game restarted
