I recently bought a catback exhaust system... if I take off the silencer some kind of fibers come out when I accelerate and also another part comes out inside the muffler along with the fibers, so thats why I keep the silencer on...did this happen to you?.... I want to run the car without the silencer... if you have any suggestion or explanation for this, please reply

i do have a silencer that came with the exhaust system. but i havent had any problems like that. what i could guess could be the problem is that your silencer vibrates alot inside which caused a little crack in the exhaust muffler. since mufflers have fibers inside to keep the sound from resonating out to much. each time u turn on the car fibers fly out. try looking inside the muffler and try to search for a crack. thats my best guess. hope it helped. u might just have to get a new muffler.
