  • @highboostfd3s Shame on u man........I can't seem 2 understand people that swap engines on such an amazing car like the FD RX-7..if u don't like the rotary engine with its advantages and disadvantages then go get another car but don't do that please on such a masterpiece of Japanese engineering................................

  • simple way to get rid of the moo sound without actually trying to figure out ways to muffle or eliminate the noise..... get block off plates and delete the airpump altogether

  • @highboostfd3s YEAH...........more parts for me!

  • @yoitsmearwyn I think it's not Apexi!

I have an RE Amemiya Air Filter and it does the same thing! We should replace the Air Pump!

In fact, it was doing this "moo" before installing the RE Amemiya Air Filter! since the OEM Air Box! :(

  • the fix is to remove the hose and cap both ends. You need to drill holes in cap on the air pump so the air can be muffled and vented to atmosphere. Then viola! no more moo!!

  • @4x4Explorer that sound comes from the air pump recirculating back into the engine. It the long steel braid hose connected to the top air filter. Normally its supposed to connect to the stock air box, but inside the air box is a partition. The air pump blows air into the stock air box, through a filter and vents to atmosphere. Its not supposed to reciculate back to the engine. The filter a bad design from Apexi.

  • @yoitsmearwyn proceed

  • @4x4Explorer thats what they call the "moo" sound. sounds like a cow. i can explain where the noise is coming from and how to get rid of it but i dont think anyone cares hahahha MOOOOOO!!!!!!
