  • Man Sammy and Eddie were great friends and business partners what the hell happened?

  • They were talking about the 4th track "Amsterdam", which if you read the lyrics closely, references drugs.

  • What happened? Ed became a magician, and turned himself into an ass! As far as I'm concerned -- and this from a former second-to-none fan -- Eddie screwed Sammy, and really screwed Michael. Sorry Ed, Mike is as much Van Halen as you! Ed and Alex need to get their heads out of their rears and realize life is short. Go ahead, screw friends... you may not have ANY one day! Ed wouldn't allow Sam to have some time with his pregnant wife, and fired Mike for jamming with Sammy? Screw U and Alex, Ed!

  • @deathmetal4u81 - I'm not 100% sure what happened around 96' when Sammy first left. Creative differences I think. But in 04' during the Van Halen reunion tour, Eddie was really in a bad place with alcoholism and such, and Sammy left stating Eddie had changed and wasn't the same person anymore. Plus when Eddie and Alex didn't show up to Van Halen's induction to the Rock N' Roll Hall of Fame, that pretty much put the nail in the coffin for Sammy. He said he can never forgive them for that.

  • God she was a s**t "Video Jockey". Wonder how she got the job?......

  • what a different vibe between ed & sam. they obviously hate each other here.

  • Ed sounds great and looks great, man...fucking BEST tour I think. 5150 is close behind.

  • Did you know that the working title for "Balance" was "The Club"? Was to be a tribute to their late manager Ed Leffler.

  • don't tell me what love can do.

  • Saw them on this tour and it was their best sound by far.
