crashing waves off of Lorain Ohio, Lake Erie

This was taken during a high wind warning on October 28th, 2006. The first part is Lorain's Lighthouses and break wall off hot waters in Lorain. Wind was racing at 40-50 mph and was shaking the van we were in. The second half is at St. Anthony's in Lorain.

the front end of the video was shot at Hot Waters. Take Oberlin ave. straight down to the waterworks and keep straight to you hit the water. The second end was behind St. Anthony's on the east side.

I was born and raised in Lorain. I now live in San Diego and only get back to Lorain every 10 years or so. It's great to see the old lighthouse at Lakeview Park. I forgotten how stormy the lake can get. Thanks!

Wow. My Grandfather used to take me -fishing at Hot Waters -i'm talking late 60's early 70's here. I grew up in Amherst/Vermilion, live in Rochester, NY now. Great memories.
