My New Melanochromis Auratus

My New Male Melanochromis Auratus. He is approximately 3 1/2 inches long, Black base with Silver Stripes. Not sure that you can see it in the video, but the Silver Stripes has hints of a Pearl Pink in it. He is very aggressive. I put my finger in the water at the store I purchased him from (Personal Touch Pet Store on Kirby Addition in Princeton, WV), and he attacked them several times. First day int he tank and first to eat already. Introduced him with two smaller females with Yellow base and Black and White Stripes, both about 2 inches long ( Purchase at Kimz Pet Express in Princeton, WV) . Very beautiful fish. you know that you have mixed mel. auratus with mel. chipokae.

it's looks like that. an auratus male but chipokae females

nice fish. But that Aurautus is tiny compared to the one i have. Mines a lil over 6 inches. Its BIG, BLACK AND HELLA UGLY AND MEAN. LOL
