@HISTORYBUFFF I don't know about Charlie Gracie, but Duane was sponsored by Guild and was bound to sport their famous " X-500-Duane Eddy" model on photographs and disc covers.m Still, he himself confessed having recorded most, if not all, of his successes with his old Gretsch 6120.

Ahhhh the 70s. It's a bummer that a band can't look like this and get on TV (I challenge you to find a band that gets on TV and has a dude in it that looks like the rhythm guitarist backing Eddy).

I had no idea he could finger pick this well! I always just thought of him as playing simple single note runs with plenty of bends, a touch to the Bigsby now and then , and lots of reverb and 'vibrato' out of his Fender Twin amp. Wow!
