Two things on how to play like Bonzo: Don't be stiff. Let the drumsticks almost be loose in your hands. Also, Big thick drumsticks. F***ing mallets lol. The combination of the heavy thick drumstick and the loose grip will actually let you hit harder and thus produce that heavy, in rhythm sound.
