  • dont need to bridge connections at all! Just go to 1)wireless Network Connection 2) right click and click proprties 3) Click sharing tab and click the box Allow other networks users to connect through this computers internet connection. Now your done and xbox live will work everytime with the lan cable. Bridging connections is just plain pointless and not needed in this situation at all. Thumbs up so other people can see this and reply if it worked. thanks

  • @SnarfSnarf306 It really isn't that complicated at all. Takes awhile if you're not too familiar with it, but if you have good instructions, it is definitely a great alternative to paying for either a wifi adapter, or to have your 360 S model fixed due to a broken internal card. Also good if you don't want to run a lot of cables through your house just to connect to the router.

  • @the0real0realitykid Also, for the computer newbies, you have to leave your computer on if you are going to connect this way. The computer is essentially feeding your 360 the data it needs through the ethernet cable.

  • @101fonzy Yes, this works much better than using the bridge. Just make sure that you're sharing the wireless connection, not the Local Area Connection, otherwise it won't work. If you simply bridge them, it can cause connection issues (it did for me). This solution works great on my 360 S, which isn't even a year old. The wireless card inside it stopped working unexpectedly and I don't want to send it in just to get a refurbished model over something as stupid as the wireless failing.

  • @101fonzy Worked like a charm, dude. I appreciate it.

  • i suggest either fucking wasting your well earned money on a wireless adapter or hooking straight to your router this is way to hard i consider myself pretty good at using computers so pretty much it is sooooooooo much easier to do it the right way -_-

  • k fuck this shitttt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Thanks, big help :)

  • @junctionmaster mine does the same thing any way around it?
