youknow why they have to remake shows? cause they can't understand aussies or brits. i reckon show the aussie version in the states with subtitles

i hate how americans presume aussies talk like kath & kim, listen to brett & other characters not everyone talks like that for god sakes, yeh & when u do remake our shows at least make them half decent .

Mainly reality shows, which is understandable.

We hardly ever remake other types of shows and never remake sitcoms.

I know, it's really stupid. They never remake sitcoms like Scrubs or The Office which are also peppered with heaps of jokes specifically about the country or the specific culture of the country. They re-made Kath and Kim because they assumed the jokes wouldn't translate but as always, they underestimate everyone's intelligence.
