WOW hey, been a while! ^_^

Sorry about the month and a half or more of not making one of my traditional speed drawing videos... but I've been working on show choir at school and playing Kingdom Hears Birth By Sleep, and reading Ouran High School Host Club, and finishing Final Fantasy XIII... yea and i procrastinated a bit....

So im trying to make up for the lost time in this BIG portrait of a character that most of you love.

And I also wanted to make up for the video's I have uploaded that are blocked to my subscribers over seas. I've had a little bit of copy right issues with my videos so from now on Ill try to keep everything in my videos completely original.

I drew this on poster board, I used a mechanical pencil and a Dixon Ticonderoga (all the materials you would find in a 2nd grader's pencil box).

The music was made by my friend Corey Rinebold. He wants to mix and produce music so I offered him to make the music in this video.
The name of this song I believe is "Let's Go"
Once Corey makes a youtube account I will post a link to his music in this discription. THANKS COREY!

why don't you use graphite pencils? they are usually used for art and have different types of shadings. 2B pencils are lighter values and 8B are for darker values any numbers in between have different shading.. the higher the number the more darker it is. They are good for drawing realistic art. I'm still not use to those pencils I'm usually using pen since I like drawing anime.

@MystifyingPhoenix I just find alot of comfort in just using 1 pencil. and i know how pencils work, i have a few sets of them (H-8B) that i rarely use.

why did you keep switching between a mech pencil and a normal pencil, do they shade differently or sumthing :?

@18138512WASHERE mechanical pencil is easier to use when adding details.

Im 15 and I can draw as good as you but holy crap my pictures look shit compared to yours because I could not shade to save my life XD how did you get so good? Did you watc a bunch of tutorials or something?

@MystifyingPhoenix graphite pencils can smudge easily all over the paper though and can cause a huge mess for some artist i dont use them anymore myself
