Why do you have to make a comparison between these artists at all? The music is changing,Curtis Mayfield is a great musician but he won't be back and even if he was alive I seriously doubt that his style would be the same as 20 years ago.

I hear you Nora! You have to remember that Toby's father was a great drummer, so he was well prepared to be a professional musician. That being said, he still surpassed all expectations. Playing with the great Curtis Mayfield was like taking a PHD in music! The best is yet to come for Toby Williams.
