@joopman92...i know my hair may not look like dreads just yet, but it is because i im doing the naturual method, i take alot of pride in my hair, it has taken alot of patience and 7 months to get to the stage i'm in, just because my dreads dont look like typical "dreadlocks" does not mean my hair is not dreaded, no need for such a rude, and hurtful comment...

Hey Kelsey, can you tell me the very first step you took in making your dreads, like, if I were going to start today, what would be the first thing I would do?

@nenenumba1chick You go to one of the top 10 schools in the country and u can't even spell a word right?
I respect your dreads and sort of like the whole idea myself, but I feel like your hair would be so much more gorgeous without them. The parts of your hair that haven't dreaded are so shiny and like a reddish brown with beautiful ribbon like waves. I don't know, if my hair was like that I know I wouldn't do it hahaha.

@IntoBlackHouse ik i had curly wavy hair before dreads and dont get me wrong i loveddd my hair most of the time, but i have wanted dreads for years and years and now while im young is the time to experiment with this hair style, i prob wont have dreads forever... prob only another couple years at most, because i do miss my soft curly hair ALOT, i miss brushing it and using good smelling shampoos and conditioners haha and ive already learned so much about myself from having dreadlocks

@nenenumba1chick Dreads were worn by kings and pharaohs, prophets, holy men, gurus, and philosophers since the earliest known times. They were a part of EVERY civilization, religion and culture. there not only meant for certain people or hair types, anyone can have dreads if they want to, i did nothing to my hair and its loving dreading up....dont be so ignorant, dreads can be for anyone and everyone!!!
