An urban David and Goliath story, the film chronicles the young man's struggle against the city's entrenched political machine, which routinely uses strong-arm tactics to hold onto power. The battle sheds light on important questions about democracy, power, poverty and race. You cannot expect to be successful in this life if you engage in behavior that is not acceptable to the larger society. When a group creates a sub-culture, that become the way of life for that group, you cannot expect the larger populus to embrace you.

Low self esteem is the culpit of self hate, division, crime, drug use, appearance, and poorly educated. Improved education program, speech and most educated politician can save a group of people. stop hating self. Strive for excellent

I'm always struck by those who believe an ignorance man is better than one of wisdom. Ignorant men are more compelling because he "always" blame others' success for their failure and they envy achievers. Citizens of Neward should concentrate on improving their being via education. This is America where success is possible even though the road is tough. Though racism is alive, it can be an excuse for not having the know how or network.
