Just a quick noise comparison. The Poker is surprisingly quiet. This is probably due to not being as stiff, and not having plate mounted switches, wich the Filco has.

  • are the filco palm rests worth the 36 pounds?

  • @Riggzilla 36gbp? That's more than I payed for it. I think the height is a bit low, I actually have something under it rising it. I love the feel of leather, and it's why I got it.

  • which one you prefer? don't mind the sound. overall. i like more filco for looks but poker for those special functions - i would really like to control the volume from the keyboard. and which switch you prefer red or brown? (i play cs1.6) thanks!

  • @MadCrokodile1 I really like the reds better. Other than that and the sounds, they are quite similar. It really comes down to preference. A lot of people just ended up not liking the Poker. Though I love it. :)

  • @clownxfart i believe it cost more for you because it fits standard keyboards and not tenkeyless ones. it seems pretty expensive for a palm rest but i guess the price is justified as i use my keyboard often. though i'm still hesitant seeing as i can purchase a similar, non-leather one for a fraction of the cost. does the palm rest sink in when you place your palms/wrists over them? or are they stiff?

  • I have a poker red and I love it. Recently I got a HHKB and I can definitely feel it being a "smoother" feeling, and it just feels better built (particularly because the keys rattles little, even when I try to move it) Despite this, I think I still like the reds better. I was wondering whether the filco would be a middle ground? I.e. better built but still cherry mx reds.? Can you tell me if their keys "moves" around? (forgot term..)

What do you think about the build quality/feeling betwee
