Wow you seem be giving quite a vigorous massage, is it harmless to the baby ?

@mersylla I think It is harmless, babies do not hesitate to communicate when they are even slightly uncomfortable.

@mersylla I am not an expert in these matters, however this baby from day 1 did get similar massage as you see in this video. My personal view is to always listen to / look at the baby, and you know what is okay & what isn't.

Are you trying to shape his nose? I didn't know people still believed in that. My Jamaican grandma squeezed all our noses like that trying to make narrow.

@EtherealLuv well that was not our idea to shape the nose, the masseur is used to a particular way of massaging.

thanks so much. i'm about to have a baby and i'd like to do similar massage. I will watch your video again..it's hard not to. the baby is so adorable, so conent. a little sweetie :) i wish there was sound though.

My baby used to have colic or gas pain and cried every evening. I tried some of the techniques here and after the first day she didnt have the problem.yes she still gets cranky few mins before she poops or farts but not the endless cry it used to be. I massage her every evening nowadays.

@mamaigni yes we had masseur go mild with the head & face massage, point is to stop when the baby protests.

@MuminahG bangles are open type, expandable. not the once worn by adults where your have to push your hand through them.
