Robin Nest Feb/Mar 2009 Robin feeding chicks (1 day old) 2nd Video

Second video of chicks (3) being fed. 2 chicks hatched Friday Afternoon 13th March (3rd one overnight). Was able to record the eggs hatching which I hope to be able to post in the next week or two.

Nest History:

This video series is taken from a nestbox webcam in my garden mounted a few weeks ago on a fence post replacing a box where this same robin had nested the previous two years (two broods last year). The camera is an infra-red CCD camera (black and white when dark, colour during daylight hours). After the mounting the box a few weeks earlier the female was already checking it out after 20 minutes and nested a week or two later (started 17feb2009).
