Psilikono teatras (Auksė Petrulienė ir Darius Petrulis) pristato seriją filmukų „Užtvenk pyktį - gamink elektrą. Kaunas yra hidroelektrinės miestas, todėl šie filmukai siūlo miestiečiams draugiškumą kaip alternatyvų neišsemiamą energijos šaltinį - Simpatijos jėgainę. Silikono lėlės mokys miestiečius, kaip transformuoti pyktį į elektrą, rodydamos specialius pratimus.
Kaunas biennial is starting a new programme from the 5th of January. Its focus is on city life and the role of artists in it. It is an interdisciplinary art project addressing public spaces of Kaunas Friendly Zone #1.
During the final week of November three Katos video advertising screens showed one part of each series of work without promotion. This tactic was used to rely only on the practitioners artistry to ignite interest and open-up often closed down pockets of memory or experience.
From the 5th of January of 2009 the project will be publicly launched and screened over a three-week period.
In September of 2008 Lithuanian artists were invited to think about feelings of people to Kaunas and to offer ideas for the project Friendly Zone #1. It is attempted to reveal the idea of an artist as a mediator between culture and public by this project.
Psilicone Theatre (Auksė Petrulienė and Darius Petrulis) present a series of films "Dam the Anger - Make Electricity". They use the metaphor of transformation: the Kaunas dam with its potential for violent energy is released into electricity that feeds the city.
