@davidg5205ww In the novel Robert Neville was kind of crazy so i think ryan is trying to show that robert neville is trying things to keep himself sane :)

just to mention this is an adaption from THE BOOK NOT THE MOVIE!!!! In the book there's no dog called Sam, in the book its more about surviving than being a bad ass. Dont get me wrong i loved the movie. Well Done Ryan this is a great piece of work!
