In this video Michael Mullany, VP of Products & Marketing at Sencha (which makes HTML5 based SDKs and tools) is going to talk about CSS transitions and transforms, and their current implementation in browsers.

Michael will also cover CSS Animations and show the mechanics of creating timelines, animation nestings, and performance optimization. Finally, he'll compare CSS3 Animations with SVG based animations.

  • Wow this was really informative. I would love to have a class like this in my college.

  • How you'll actually do it starts at 14:00

Thumb up for others to see it.

  • Really appreciate your posting this. Just a small comment on the beginning:

By 'ubiquitous' do you mean how widely adopted by browsers it is? Strictly speaking you can't qualify that term 'ubiquitous - it's binary. It would be like talking about how pregnant or dead someone is. That's a small consideration compared to the great info you provide. Thanks!

  • aaaa, ummmm, sooo... So much pain to listen -_-

  • @SpShut @SpShut

opera is a really innovative browser, (first usage of tabs, SVG, mousegestures,...)

but noone is talking about it... i dont get it...
