The 150,000 in attendance began spontaneously to sing the anthem during the ceremony Monday.

THIS IS actually how the Norwegian people spontanousely react to the horrible happenings. Please also learn and know that Norway consist of far more than only the capitol and that similar arrangements was held throughout the country, at same time.

(For international public - you may continue to watch "Mitt lille land" and "Barn av regnbuen" performed by an artist which certainly express the difficulties the Norwegian population are facing for the moment.)

this brings a tear to the eye. such an amazing display of condolence and national pride. i'm from england, and if there had been a similar incident here then i really doubt that there would be this kind of outpouring onto the streets and display of national pride, although i hope i would be proved wrong. i happened to be sweden the day after these attacks, and the support they seemed to be showing their neighbours was admirable too. beautiful country. long live norway!

Även om jag inte alltid kommer överens med norrmän så var detta en stor tragedi. Jag lider med Norge, de som miste livet och deras nära och kära. Jag hoppas att ni nu befinner er på en bättre plats och har det bra.
