This council appear to be more interested in pursuing their officers personal vendettas than concerning themselves with maintaining the assets of the people they profess to represent.

I can only agree with all of your comments. So many places on the island are being neglected like this. I am not an islander, but i have been coming to the island since i was a child, and each year i come back i see the neglect getting worse. Not so many years ago i could go to most places on the island and feel comfortable and relaxed, but these days if you stray too far of the 'tourist' tracks you soon find yourself facing an unsightly mess. It's a great shame.
