All branches of the military have exchange officers that go over to work and live with other services... in this case Capt. Kaercher is USAF, but other exchange pilot are actually from other NATO/Allied countries like Sweden, Australia, Germany and India.

Our house is in this video from 1:50-1:58. That is the town of Lone Pine, California off the right wing tip. Our ranch is one of the light areas at the base of the Sierra Mountains, on the left side of the screen from 2:52 on. The town of Independence is at 1:23-1:32. The Owens Valley area has been a favorite of aviation photographers as well as movie and TV productions for decades. Great video.
