Several things wrong with this video:
-The side she puts down is the diaphragm, not the bell
-You shouldn't pump the cuff more than 280 mm Hg.
-You should wrap the cuff around the right arm. Only use the left arm in certain circumstances such as injury or surgery to the right arm.
-No detail mentioned or explained about Korotkoff sounds.

@WundertGarNichtsMehr if you have ever used one, you know that only one side of the stethocope is active. the thumb is fine.

I'm sure that woman went to school for what she does. I go to med school and they have taught me also to do it this way. Putting slight pressure with your thumb on the back of the bell a correct way of doing this. The video is about "How to Check for Blood Pressure". This video provides a very common example of one of the easiest ways to do this, even at home. Advice was provided in this video.

um their is one thing wrong in this video first when you are pumping the gauge my nursing teacher told us to pump too 140 then let a lil of air out lil at a time till you dont hear the pulse anymore.
This video is useless, no blood flow hints or advice, and first she is using her thumb on stethoscope which is incorrect because the thumb has its own pulse

The bell can't pick up a pulse from where her thumb was positioned. You have to make sure you're not using your thumb when taking a pulse. Her thumb wasn't touching the diaphragm so she was fine.
