Not much out there is probably more nostalgic to kids of the 80s and early 90s than the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. And one of the key elements to the Turtlemania was the ever-lovable classic cartoon series that began in 1987 and ran until 1996. And, easily, one of the most memorable aspects of the show was that amazing theme song. Sadly, finding it on the internet isn't all that easy anymore and even the DVD version is VHS quality at best. @lordjavathe3rd Actually YouTube notified me that the audio had to be muted by WMG and the notice was at the bottom. It did, however, let me choose an alternate audio track and the notice was lifted.

@lordjavathe3rd I'm surprised no one has accused me yet, to be honest. It does seem like just a devise to get people to my site, like you said. But it's one of those things that was a pain in the butt a couple months ago to deal with, but it did end up being an effective way to get people to my site anyway. I would've never thought of lying about it on my own, though. I'm not that clever.

@happydragonpics I suppose it doesn't matter anyway. Some people manage to go undetected for whatever reason here on youtube. But the very fact that people are having a difficult time enjoying nothing but the theme songs from excellent tv shows of the past, makes any tactic ok if it delivers the goods. I had to go to metacafe just to find this theme song once, it's just a shame that we have to jump through these hoops.

@lordjavathe3rd Indeed. I think that's why it so hard to find the old TMNT theme song on here, because almost all attempts have been blocked, unless someone re-recorded it or something. I just wanted to leave it up no matter what audio there was so that people could still watch my re-animation of it, then of course, having a link to watch the real thing, which is still the most watched video on my site.

heres what we need to do people in order to fight WMG and protect fair use, we need to take videos such as this (or the original TMNT intro for that matter) as well as other properties that keep getting tampered with by WMG and keep uploading and reuploading as they get messed with or deleted, with enough people doing this WMG will be overwhelmed and see that were just doing this to relive childhood memories and protect our right to fair use for entertainment purposes.
