Our little
stinking
words of
truth,
unspeakably,
march through
sinister,
silent,
bare streets,
like a small
army

pass beyond
the railways,
churches,
hospitals,
lines
of buildings
court houses
and
dark prisons,


pass beyond
public
squares,
laws gates
and
conflicts
erected
barricades,

heading
for the
city
of
FREE-SPEECH.

Menetelünk az üres, éjszakai utcán
áttetsző csillagok, széllökések,
kezdődő eső futamai.

Körülvesz saját világunk.
Ki mutatja kinek?

Fegyház, kórház, hullaház,
vasúti sínek homályos ezüstje

Megyünk idő-rekonstruálva,
az erősödő szélben egymásnak
gesztikulálva:

Legyen szabad beszéd!
Nem maradhatunk
némaságba zárva!
